About Kim Rosenberg

Kim is a Partner in our Global Projects Disputes Group and Global Investigations Group.

Kim's practice covers risk management in the context of construction projects and corporate investigations.

Kim advises stakeholders on all construction stages of the project cycle, in particular contract administration and dispute resolution. She has supplemented this experience by completing a Masters in Construction Law at the University of Melbourne in Australia. From an industry perspective, Kim was chair of the committee that drafted the 2nd edition of the Society of Construction Law’s Delay and Disruption Protocol and co-editor of Dealing with Delay and Disruption on Construction Projects published by Sweet and Maxwell.

Kim also heads our Middle East focused global investigations practice. She has been ranked in Chambers Global and Who's Who Legal for corporate investigations for several years.

Construction & Infrastructure

  • Advising an owner in the Middle East regarding claims valued over $1bn arising out of the design and construction of a rail project
  • Advising an international oil major on defective engineering claims valued over $1bn on a complex oil & gas project
  • Representing international contractors regarding significant delay and disruption claims referred to arbitration arising out of the construction of an airport in the Middle East
  • Representing a developer in the Middle East in arbitration proceedings concerning claims arising out of the roads and utilities for a new master plan development
  • Representing an African government entity in international arbitration arising out of the construction of nationally significant infrastructure
  • Representing a mining company in the Middle East in relation to delay and defect claims arising out of the design and construction of an aluminium rolling mill

Corporate investigations

  • Advising an international contractor in relation to allegations of bribery and an SFO investigation into the award of FEED, EPC and O&M contracts worth multi-billions of dollars in the oil sector in the Middle East, the Caspian region and Africa
  • Advising international oil companies in relation to compliance-related allegations concerning operations in Central Asia, including the procurement of engineering and construction contracts, leading to internal investigations
  • Advising a national company in the Middle East in relation to allegations of fraud, misconduct, regulatory breaches and corruption, covering two decades, relating to contracts valued at hundreds of millions of dollars
  • Advising an international trading company in relation to allegations of bribery in its African automotive business covering nearly two decades
  • Advising an energy company regarding fraud arising out of forged bank documents valued at over $100 million
  • Advising a health products company regarding allegations of regulatory breaches relevant to the manufacture, storage and marketing of products and follow on arbitration
